The Hotel Parq Central in Albuquerque, N.M., has an introductory rate of $139 to celebrate its opening after a restoration of the historic property that opened as Santa Fe Hospital in 1926. I’m told the renovation focused on keeping the building’s history (original clay tiles, 1926-era windows, a huge grand staircase) while providing the amenities everyone expects (free Wi-Fi, iPod docks, flat-screen TVs).
